I visited this store earlier this evening, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and left me feeling unwelcome. When I arrived, it was just me and two employees in the store. They were chatting with each other while I browsed. I walked around a few times, trying to see if I could get their attention without interrupting their conversation, especially since it was my first time shopping at a Vuori store. Eventually, I approached one of the employees and asked about shorts that would be good for running. He told me that none of their styles were specifically geared toward running. I then looked up Vuori's shorts online and mentioned that I was interested in the Corse shorts, and he said he would check the back to see if they had them. While he was checking, the female associate never acknowledged me or offered any assistance, even as I continued browsing. Not once did I hear something as simple as, "Can I help you find anything?" I felt like I was essentially invisible. The male associate came back with two pairs of the Corse shorts, one in a small and one in an XXL, and immediately said, "I have these two shorts, but I don't think they're your size." I asked what waist size the small accommodated, and he said up to a 30-inch waist. I told him I was actually within that range but was no longer interested. I was genuinely taken aback that he would casually assume what size I was. You don't know someone's measurements or what size they wear simply by looking at them. A much more appropriate way to communicate this would have been, "These are the two sizes we currently have available." It's a small distinction, but the way it was said was incredibly off-putting. I continued browsing the shirts, and once again, neither associate made any effort to assist me. At that point, I actually asked if I was interrupting their conversation and whether I could use the fitting room. I also told the male associate that I felt it was insensitive to make assumptions about someone's size. I asked for his name, and he told me his name was Charlie. He then escorted me to the fitting room and apologized, explaining that he assumed we were the same size. I explained again that we're different people and that he shouldn't make assumptions about customers' bodies or sizes. After trying on a shirt, I came back out and saw the employees happily chatting with another customer. As I put the shirt back, Charlie apologized again and offered me a discount on it. I declined and told him that, after this experience, I didn't feel comfortable supporting a brand where I felt I had been treated this way. I also mentioned that perhaps I don't fit the demographic they typically expect to shop there, but regardless, the customer service should be welcoming and inclusive to everyone. Unfortunately, Charlie then told me that I was being rude. I found that response particularly frustrating. I wasn't being rude by explaining why his comment was inappropriate; I was simply asking him not to make assumptions about customers based on their appearance. I left without purchasing anything. This was my first experience in a Vuori store, and unfortunately, it will likely be my last. The lack of acknowledgment, the assumption about my size, and the response when I raised my concern made the entire experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I would encourage management to provide additional customer-service training, particularly around inclusivity and making customers feel comfortable regardless of their appearance or body type.

Probably the worst Vuori store I’ve visited. The men’s selection was pretty underwhelming, and the staff seemed to be competing for the fastest texting thumbs instead of customer service. I walked from the front, all the way to the back, then back to the front like I was doing laps and somehow managed to remain completely invisible. I started wondering if I’d accidentally unlocked stealth mode.
